Expectations

Why everything is good when we were a kid?

Maybe we were so small to forget everything; those every fight, every fear, every problem or every scold we got we forget within in seconds. The pain gets healed within minutes. Laugh goes on with friends & those playtimes never get over. We got school work to do but eventually fun is always on our mind and that creativity never ended due to chart sheets, crayons, sketches, glues and lots of glitters. We used to paint our brightest futures with happiness, love, heart, and soul and never care about the hard work that it might require. Life was super smooth and slow because in every class we learned new things and that new skill makes us wonder about too many more new things as that we were not having this common sense by then to understand everything on our own. We were curious, creative and scientists.

So, from that cutie-pies when we become this mature and sensible human being?

Does Adolescence is the answer to the bridging gap between our childhood and adulthood? 

The period of human life when we grow and become grownups. We gain common sense, sense of judgment, inferencing powers about situations and predicting every outcome of our actions because we have experience after all which can be first hand or last hand but still we know what’s next!  Right! 

Our generation lives between pendulum about to get serious or to be careless and looks cool or follow heart in situations. Trying to impress others and then searching ourselves in between our lives. 

Well, expectations seeds get implanted in our life when we first saw a dream and then begin to daydreaming about it. And of course the quickly we want it, in the sideway, the tree of disappointments grows even much more bigger than the expectation’s plant. The disheartened experiences bring the stack of sour moments which are not enough to neutralize those sweeter moments. But how unfair it is that our schools never teach those things and everyone just left us in the world to experience a completely different dimension other than pampering one.

At the beginning of every new friendship or partnership why everything is good? Because we try to put our best into that relationship. We try to fulfill each other’s expectations, demands, and needs. We try to understand each other deeply so that to connect with that person at different levels and try to fill that hole in our life.  We really want to grow our lives around each other thus begin to find all those similar characteristics in each other so to make things really possible at the best-est level because after all its era of BFF and #Couplegoals. But as things grow we get to know about each other better and we know about other’s patterns thus suddenly our expectation level gets higher and for every unfulfilled desire, we begin to blame others that they have left us into this situation.

I think there are always many stories about one incident, 2 stories of respective parties(one each of both sides) and one story which depicts the communication and misunderstanding gap. Just like a coin, two faces of a coin are opposite to each other but no-one cares about that thin width between those faces which make both the face apart from each other and just in that thin layer the truth is hidden somewhere. 

It’s not bad to have expectations, after all, every dream begins from some expected outcomes but the fear of not getting it especially after a long wait makes things worse. The pile of expectations grows and a loop of doubt gets started that never ends. But somehow, when those things happen then it JUST HAPPEN and that happiness is the most precious memories of your life. Isn’t it?
